At Lagniappe Special, we believe great food comes with a little something extra — that’s the spirit of lagniappe, and it’s the heart of everything we do.

My name is David Ford, and cooking has always been my way of bringing people together. What started as family meals, backyard gatherings, and big pots of comfort food slowly grew into something bigger. My wife, Monica, saw how much joy those meals brought to everyone around us and said, “David, you need to share this with the world.”

So, we did.

Today, Lagniappe Special is our rolling kitchen — a place where Southern flavor, Louisiana pride, and home-cooked comfort meet the open road. Every dish is made with care, seasoned with tradition, and served with that little extra love Monica insisted everyone deserved.
